About Meaghan Norris
I am a Clinical Social Worker who works primarily with adolescents and adults who are experiencing a variety of difficulties. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, with a specialization in Health and Mental Health. I have experience working with clients across the life span, and helping them navigate and treat anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, coping with stress, dealing with emotional dysregulation, treating addictions, managing difficult relationships, and work through life transitions.

I was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and I have lived and practiced social work in Natuashish, NL; Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL; Toronto, Ontario; and Halifax, NS.
I love working with individuals to help them use their resiliency to make positive changes in their life situations. I have training and experience using various models of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy stargazing and connecting with friends and family.
